Staying FIT over the holidays is possible!
'Tis the holidays and everyone is looking for excuses to eat whatever they can get their hands on. But there's one little problem with that.
If you are a Weekend Warrior (defined in Warriors Magazine - Issue 1), that means that you only have 2 days (on average) to eliminate those calories! Not to mention you have zero time because you have a house full of family you didn't invite. Or, you are like me and have 3 different families to visit, and 3 separate meals to eat in the span of 5 hours!
Okay, so that's the rough news.
Here's the good news...
If you are looking to stay FIT around the holidays, calories have very little to do with it. That's right! You heard me right. You can stay fit and pretty much eat what you like.
Body weight is only 1 component of Fitness, and there are 5 components of Fitness!

Anyways, back to Fitness. Here is your WEEKEND WARRIOR FIT-TIP:
If you want to have any chance of getting a workout in over the holidays this year, you must do the following:
1. Make exercise a PRIORITY! (no excuses)
2. Do it EARLY (get it in before the kids are up)
3. SET It and forget it (e.g. set a 15, 30, or 60 minute timer and don't stop until you hear the beep)
If you are a WEEKEND WARRIOR these 3 steps are critical to your Fitness Success.
