It's been 16 years since that day and I can still remember everything crystal clear.
I remember what I was doing, what I was feeling and how terrified and confused I was sitting in my 7th grade classroom.
I remember many things from that day, but the one that shines the brightest is the picture of our Firefighters standing above the gravel with a look of anger and relentless determination to fight back.
These are our everyday warriors
We need to honor and thank our EVERYDAY WARRIORS each chance we get.
After all, they are the only DEFENSE between us and terror.
