The growing threats in today’s world have given rise to a variety of EDC Self-defense tools. One of them is the “Self-Defender” by The Selfdefender Tool company and approved / used by Tactical Awareness Combative Training (TACT) and TACTOPSUSA.

Dyslexia is defined as a condition whereby the phonic decoding of the brain is weaker therefore generating problems with reading and writing. Children diagnosed with Dyslexia are just as capable of learning as any other student; they just need to do it differently than mainstream academia allows for under current guidelines.
How serious do you take self-defense? Of course if you are asked, “Would you defend yourself and your family?” the answer would be a stern You betcha!!! Well, not so fast. Most people fall into one of three categories:
“Instrument of Attitude Adjustment”
In 1995, I had the pleasure of training and meeting with the legendary Master of the Gosoku-ryū style of karate, Soke Takayuki Kubota. He was a skillful instructor and very engaging when I had a chance to talk with him immediately after his seminar. He is most noted for inventing a self-defense weapon called a Kubaton. This tool is a small stick about one-half inch thick and six inches long; it is simple, uncomplicated, but very effective. In the world of self-defense, experts agree there is only one objective – to escape. Having said that, understanding how to use a Kubaton could mean the difference between surviving an attack or never returning home.
